Difficult Breakups and The Smiths - Stuff White People Like

'Once breakup proceedings have been initiated, a white person is immediately thrust into the center of attention in their circle of friends. During this time, they are permitted to talk at great lengths about themselves, listen to The Smiths, and get free dinners from friends who think “they shouldn’t be alone right now.”'

Goodness me!

There are 'white' people' and 'brown' people. There are 'black' people and there are 'yellow' people.

And they can all be reduced to lumpen simplistic categories.

What a funny and novel idea! How ironically expressed! 'Clander' is no doubt a name that will echo throughout human culture for centuries to come.

What next? White men can't 'shoot hoops' (done -cringingly)

White men can't dance? False. I'm the greatest dancer on the planet. Ever. Fact.

White people laugh at blogs called 'Stuff White People Like'. I'm laughing so much I'm yawning.

Where's the companion site: 'Stuff Black People Like'?

Nice to see human cultural evolution proceeding apace.

    Dear Jim,

White people have the gift of social gathering and comfort in hard times. They'll pay for dinner and turn a glass of water into wine.

Being into Morrissey was a white middle class thing for about 5 minutes in the late 80s...

Since then we've moved on to new stereotypes for Moz fanatics:

        1. brown people from the UK who hate Bollywood

        2. brown people from California who hate sombreros

"If you're rich and you're white... you think you're alright..."

The Smiths are something yellow people like, too, particularly the ones who are obsessed with seeming posh in an utterly English way.
