Morrissey Rhino reissues forthcoming

The reissues will be in August:

Bona, Uncle, Beethoven, Viva, Southpaw, Arsenal and Vauxhall

No word on extras. Rhino always does a good job though.

... these will be a chance for official release of Striptease With A Difference, Born To Hang etc as remastered extras???

Either that or, at the very least, all the B-sides including the all but forgotten glory of You Must Please Remember on Rhino's Southpaw???

        More excited about this than the upcoming "Greatest Hits". Rhino is usually pretty comprehensive with the reissues. I would expect all the corresponding B-sides and probably live tracks. I'm not holding my breath for unreleased tracks...but one can hope

          I never bothered to get Beethoven, perhaps I will if they do a nice job on the re-release.

            I remember reading an article back in 2005 that stated the Smiths' albums and solo material were in the process of being remastered.

            Better late that never...for the solo material, at least!

                  it would be nice to do them as doubles or dual discs with an enhanced audio component(not nec surround), outtakes, b-sides and some video content like the talking heads, depeche mode and jesus and marychain reissues.
                  as long as they are available internationally..the JAMC dualdiscs were only released in the u.s.
                  and how about belting all of them into a nice box..ask jo slee to overlook the design, please

                    I saw the tracklists for thse at the Sanctuary management offices two years ago.
                        If these actually come out you will all be stunned. All of them had 4-6 UNRELEASED! tracks except for Southpaw Grammar which had a full second disc of unreleased tracks!

                      Too bad Warner/Rhino don't have the rights to the Maladjusted era recordings. I think that would have the most intersting selection of unreleased tracks...Kitt, I'm not worth hitting, It's hard to walk tall w/ music written by Spencer and their first recording of No one can hold a canlde to you.
