I just checked out Lee's website. I found it very interesting. I think it's wonderful that Morrissey takes pictures with personas like Iggy Pop or Lee Black Childers so this generation of pioneers of punk rock won't get forgotten, or never be known. I would never have known who Leee was if not for this photo - and for the visit to Leee's website. It is a piece of history. Thanks, Julia and Sphinx.

This looks like Moz is visiting an AA meeting (that isn't going very well) or homeless shelter for some charity work. Though the guy from the New York Dolls still seems to have a couple of young hanger-ons.

I've never seen Morrissey looking so cuddling and tender. I think it's probably because he feels thankful Leee has helped key underground artists who influenced Morrissey get visibility. If anyone know of any pictures Leee ever took of Morrissey, it would be definitely interesting to post them here.

Leee's photos are significant because he happened to be at the right place at the right time. They serve as a documented history of everyone and anyone who brought just a little bit of glamour and excitement in an otherwise dreary and economically skint New York in the 1970s.

I liked what I saw on his web site, what little was there, but I would love to see his stuff published in a nice collection.

This is an interesting story considering the past work of Leee Black Childers.Bowie ,The Dolls etc. If You go on his my space first thing you'll see is a picture of leee with Cilla Black, now thats a good Morrissey link!

Leee has taken some amazing photos and he is an inspiration to us all. I loved the fact that when I checked out his myspace page he had a photo with him and Cilla Black!!! He has amazing taste and a great history. Great to see that Moz is keeping it going. Also love the fact that he's 62 and on myspace!!! I retired from myspace at 30... but moved onto facebook!! Should go back onto myspace if ppl of Leee's quality are on there. Well done, Moz you hang with the best.

Ps is that David Johansen looking bored in the background or does moz just roll with Dollsalikes?!

Moz looks great, caring, compassionate. Slightly the right love handle peeping there, jacket could be a bit bigger or jeans a bit higher.

That other guy looks preatty ok too. Look like he's merited in some front, and it's interesting to know who this guy with three consecutive eee's in his first name really is - a photographer who Moz seem to regard with high respect.

Moz looks now more boyish, how face appears more empty here. Looks like he might by ramming the other guys head, but gently only.

Leee looks scary, sick and like a character from a B-horror film.

It's hard to comprehend why photo#2 is published in the Leee's Myspace homepage. Or why delete was not pressed after the exposure of the frame.

So there you have it, almost a 1000 word for 2 pictures.
