I think it's telling that this list of "geniuses" misspells Morrissey's name. That and Osama ranking above, oh, everyone else. Evil genius, I suppose, but then where's Dick Cheney? Also: I love the Simpsons, but does Matt Groening really deserve sole credit for that? Or was he nominated for Life in Hell?

          While it's nice to see Morrissey get attention, this list is clearly bogus.

          Perhaps these are the most "publicly popular geniuses", but even then they are using a pretty unique sense of genius - look at the other people in the list - much more celebrity than high intelligence.

          I suspect is nothing more than a list of some random editors' "favorite people"
