Maldonado is the poster-boy for ALL Latino fans apparently. Why do they always talk to this putz? He does NOT represent us as he is nothing but a mooching HACK that lives in a distorted fantasy.

Despite the whole Maldonado business this still is excellent promotion for Morrissey (and the largely anonymous Latino-culture here in Sweden). This makes him known to many who don't watch Bingolotto, university students etc. At least I listen to new bands this way.

There is a new special on the US born Moz fans of German ancestry that will be aired on WTF TV at 7 PM Mountain Standard Time. The show will spotlight the 3,000 fans of Morrissey that have German ancestry. Having known Jose as a good friend for over fifteen years now- yes I am a little biased - but he is the same HUGE fan of Morrissey and the Smiths as he was when we first met. I honestly don't believe he thinks he is any better than anyone else- he really does think of himself as just another fan just like all of us. He has just taken it to an extreme that's all heheh- and I am happy to have seen so many Sweet and Tender Hooligans shows over the years. I have met some serious die-hard rabid fans from all over the globe and we all have that one thing in common: a PASSION for Moz and his music. I love seeing documentaries like these where fans get to express that. I hope people can post more of the positive things about their fellow fans. Thanks Jose and the rest of you for your shared passion- I love it!

Why do people come down so hard on Jose/SATH? L.A. has been spoiled with the real MozCoy recently, but during the winter years surely SATH provided fans some kind of decent sounding outlet. Jose seems like an unpretentious guy in the video.

My only question is why they (SATH) haven't tried their hand at writing some Morrissey-esque originals. Even if the songs didn't hold up to the Moz covers, they'd probably get more respect from the haters (?)

Do you know when this single got released it got to number 29 or something but in Wales it got to number 9.
