Despite my constant badgering Swallowneck has so far failed to creat a Myspace profile page for you all to visit. Instead he prefers to trawl the web, looking for likely lads for close encounters within shady chat rooms.

He pursues this simple hobby without a webcam these days as he used to be paranoid that curious 15 year old guys were watching him performing self-pleasure on himself in the recent past... A wise move in this day and (cyber) age if you ask me!

I hope this means a full new album is in the works with all new material. To hell with a greatest hits collection. A new album is what we want- something that rocks like YA or Southpaw.

It's been the same old argument ever since ROTT was released. People with opinion get shouted down by the opinion police.

We keep coming back to Morrissey because he's proved himself on countless occasions to be a true great. Most of us long-term fans have faith that he still has another stupendous album in him. He even has the potential to do a Dylan and bang out a late-career hatrick.

But while we're waiting, we're perfectly entitled to express disappointment when he scores below par. It doesn't mean we're any less supportive. There's more to being a fan than nodding furiously and applauding every sub-standard move.

Morrissey is booked to play FOUR NIGHTS at the Fillmore in San Francisco, September 23, 24, 26, 27. Don't be surprised if it falls through though-he is notorious for tentatively booking shows either there or the Warfield-and then promptly cancelling them. But I hear that it IS pretty much confirmed!
