What about Simon and Garfunkel? I'm not that old, meaning, not a youth in the 70's, but I appreciated some of their "posthumus" songwriting, even though I admit my taste was a but sugary and funky before I traversed the punkish 80s.

Well, after reading the regular posters' comments on Johnny Marr after the recent interviews, he sucks and shouldn't even have made the list.
