...read this great account of the Spokane show from The Tripwire... in it is a report where Boz says Alain will be rejoining the band for the California gigs.

Tickets West snafus for Spokane venue
Someone posted about getting money back from the Spokane show. That's not going to happen. I talked to representatives at Tickets West and they just helped manage the switch from the proposed venue (INB)to the actual venue (Big Easy)
but they were given no instructions on accomodating or providing ticket reimbursements.

I paid for the orchestra level tickets, so my reward was ground floor/lower level terrace tickets by the bar as opposed to the balcony seats. That's it. I guess we have the option of complaining to Morrissey's people, but I take it his statement at the beginning of the show ("2700 people was overdoing it") was a concession that his people didn't get it right. At least we all got in.

Do you think they will share the stage? Alternate songs? Jesse demoted to roadie? Or will it be Alain only? I hate rumors.

I read the entire review from Tripwire (anonymous source and no link, hmmmmmmm...) and didn't see a damn thing about Alain Whyte in it. Please read and confirm that my senile brain has not entirely lost it:

I think the false rumour was just a ploy to get us to read Tripwire. Bah, I shan't be returning.

I am tired of those who supposedly know so much about Morrissey that they include, oh so cleverly, so many lyrics and song titles into their narrative, yet do not know how to spell Morrissey's name; "Walking a pace in front of us and heading into the sound check, gliding on a wave of class, came Stephen Patrick Morrissey." "Brian speaks out of the corner of his excited mouth, "oh my god here comes the black bus."" The tour busses are blue, not black, thoughthey do have Florida plates.

            Spokane Show (Score:1)
I was very privaleged to see the show in Spokane on Cinco de Morrissey. Overall it was an amazing performance however there were somethings that got me down. I bought my tickets the minute they went on sale (literally) I also paid for orchestra level seating, I think I got fifth row or so originally. Well as you may know it got moved to the Big Easy and changed this to a 21+ show, then they changed it back. The day of the show was 4 months short of my 21st so my biggest dissapoinment was that I had to sit in the back of the building on a balcony while people that paid less for their tickets ran up to the stage to touch the Moz. That was a set back but at the same time it's sad that our area couldn't draw 2700 for such an amazing performer. The show was the best I've ever seen and I had an absolutley amazing time. So next time he's within 500 miles I'll be there and by then I won't have any age limitations!
