      Poor Morrissey. That fan should feel like an idiot. He took his one chance of a lifetime and made it one of his biggest mistakes. Anyone who rough handles Morrissey should be beat the shit out of. Just view older footage, you'll see how fans should act towards Morrissey once they achieve victory of getting on stage.

      After watching the Sister I'm a Poet video where young, thin, shirtless boys floated their way above the crowd and onto the stage to greet their idol, I am not so sure that I will be able to keep my lunch down after viewing this picture of a rather overgrown, lumbering, middle-aged, huey type lunatic bumrushing our Moz.

            This picture quite upset me.
            I have been to several Morrissey gigs where fans have been successful with their stage invasions, but they simply just touch him lightly then run off, or give him a very gentle hug. This guy looks like he wanted to hurt Morrissey.
            The expression on his face looks painful and frightened.
            To all you would be stage invaders....please, be gentle with our boy next time.

            im not trying to desrespect the moz, i was not at the show, but im curious...how did this "crazy" fan sounds like attacked morrissey? i mean if ya all were at the Ventura show back in....hmm....2000 or 1999...sorry i forgot, (im getting old) anyway, a whole bunch of fans jumbed on stage...i know it must have bothered him, but he kepted on singing...is he now just tired of fans jumbing up on stage to adore him, or did this fan just go too dam far and pissed the moz off????

            We're being spoilt by the amount of coverage coming in of the lovely long leg (!) of the US tour.

            There's a rumour that Morrissey might play Japan later in the summer. In Ireland there's a slot for a UK guest in an indie music festival in Tullamore called Castle Pollooza in August. Might he bite?

            For now we happily look to America. : )

            A painful picture (Score:1)
            These arms clasped around Morrissey's neck, and his facing looking as if he was being chocked by these arms is the saddest image of Moz I've ever seen. And, ironically, there was the happiest one of him only a few days ago, when he was sparkling next to Iggy. There is a difference between a passionate fan and a truculent fan - could it be psychosis, deliberate evil? I think this country has exhaled enough violence and ignorance as it is (I never heard of it occuring in any other country that Morrissey has been lately)... there is something about violence in America that is making violence its trademark. The roots are too deep to expose here, but this is the sense.

                once back in the day...(2002 i believe,but i dont remember) i saw morrissey in vegas and he was on his last song..."there's a light that never goes out" and some fan got on stage and hugged him, he so just left the stage and ended it after that...another time during the morrissey/jaguares tour @ the pond, a fan got on stage pretty early, i thought for sure he was going to end it right there and then but i guess he figured it was too early in the show for a hissy fit! anyway, fans should know by now that they will ruin it for the rest of us by storming on stage!!!

                I can't believe some fans, they always ruin it for everybody else. I thinks its find that fans want to shake his hand or touch him, but tear his shirt open, and almost tackle him,THAT INSANE. DO WE REMEMBER WHAT HAPPEN TO "DIMEBAG" DARREL. MY POINT IS THERE ARE CRAZY FANS OUT THERE. AND IF MORRISSEY CANT JUST SING AND SHAKE A FEW HANDS WITHOUT SOME IDIOT DOING SOMETHING TO PUT HIS MORRISSEY LIFE IN DANGER IS FINE.. BUT HE SHOULD BE WORRIED WHEN SOMEONE DOES SOMETHING CRAZY. AND IF I WAS AT THAT SHOW AND I DID NOT GET TO HEAR AND ENCORE I WOULD BE PISSED AT THAT STUPID PERSON.
