Excuse me my ignorance... (Score:1)
I was browsing through my usually helpful Oxford Desk Dictionary and Thesaurus (American edition) for the meaning(s) of the word "sack". All I found was "a large and strong bag", "dismiss from employment" or "plunder and destroy". Is there any other "europe-bred" meaning for it that has escaped my reach? That would help me if someone could "scratch" my "itching" curiosity... Thanks!

      In the first of Alarcon's reviews, he says:
      "the jibber-jabber was kept to a minimum save for comments about Hillary Clinton and how a female leader is dangerous due to what history has taught us with Maggie Thatcher."

      WTF? For those of you who were there: is that an accurate assessment of what Moz said? I can't believe he would be against women being in office, there's no way.

      So far, in every article I read about the shows in Pasadena, the writer HAS to mention about how many 'Mexican' people where there. Who cares? I'm sure there were other races as well. I don't understand why they always have to talk about the Moz/Mexican connection. Fans are fans.

          This Alarcon journalist sounds like a pompous, arrogant journalist who thinks he's the shit because he had "connections" to get tickets for all the Morrissey shows....and, he even has the audacity criticize the fans. Was he there to see Morrissey perform or to keep track of who needs to go to Weight Watchers....Who the hell is he to make such outlandish statements?

            Morrissey is the equivalent of Vicente Fernandez to the Mexican Americans. Could that be the reason why there are so many fans that are Latino? Obviously, there are many of us (latinos) who have an excellent taste is music. It just baffles people that we would be aware of good music.

              Jesus, the man looks like shit! The theatrical eye make-up doesn't help either. I don't see the irony, just an aging pop-star whose skin looks like leather, and who insists on dressing much younger than he actually is. He looks to be clinging.

              The hair has to go. It's over. Dress your age people. It doesn't work otherwise. That's a primary tenant of acceptable fashion.
