FYI: I sent an email to LIVE105, and received the following response in regards to a show @ The Warfield in San Francisco on 2/08/07:

"It was true for about 2 hours. Then it was canceled."

The prospect of mingling with lots of hot young guys in Frisco had Swallowneck panting like a bitch on heat - now he'll have to settle for another dank night in Sewersby Bridge!!!!

it was probably a wise choice to cancel this show. the Rott songs would have stunk the place up.

True? Maybe... or perhaps a marketing ploy? (Score:0)
Yeah, I know the cynical side of me is probably in top form on this one but...

Really, I wouldn't put it past a radio station to announce a show to drum up publicity then later announce it was "cancelled". Not saying it wasn't real but...

I went to great lengths to purchase tickets and plan this little expensive trip to Pasadena from San Francisco, and when I heard about a possible Warfield show, I was a bit upset. Now I feel I was justified in going to the trouble and expense of going to Pasadena, and at the same time a bit ripped off, because I would have like to have attended a SF show as well, so greedy! Now all I have to look forward to is the set list from the Thursday show so I'll know what to expect on Saturday!

i never considered the San Francisco show 'on' (Score:0)
how many times does a radio station announce a show and it doesn't happen? plenty. If it isn't announced on True-to-you.net, it's not official. This from the beginning was a rumor...period. now people are badmouthing Morrissey for canceling a show he never planned.

Get a grip people. the show was never on.
