MORRISSEY LIVE FROM MARLAY PARK - RTE 2FM (live web stream available)

On Tuesday August 22nd 2006 Rick O'Shea will broadcast live from Marlay Park in Dublin for Morrissey's concert. Rick will be on air from 6pm to 9pm with interviews, some live music and then a chunk of Morrissey's set.

Rick just announced that Morrissey's live stuff is coming at 9:15pm. That's 4:15pm US Eastern.

He is also saying that the latest single was released and in Dublin's record shops it was nowhere to be found. "There is always something to complain about in this uncooperative world". "In The Future When All's Well" now, as a probable means to thank those who bought the single. "I thank you with all my heart (then says "Julia")", then "all". Sorry, I'm so incredibly silly today, but this is my first live experience of Moz. (Glad none of you know my age...)

Then says: "Somebody wrote amazingly a nice article about me. The world is changing". Performs "Don't make fun of daddy's voice". Funny how each of these songs are intertwined with one another and with what Morrissey is saying. (Sorry once again, this is, again my first experience listening to his performance without it being chopped into youtube formats. Commercial break though. Ok, I'll shut myself up now)

I popped out here an hour ago and am ecstatic to find I've not missed the concert.The little tinkly "Auld Lang Syne" bit at the end of "Pigsty" is just lovely! Smart of him to follow that up with the lively 'How Soon Is Now'

I listened on an off from the beginning. They talked to some fans waiting for the show. They did a nice interview with the Dandy Warhols as they just got off the stage. Someone in the band pleasantly mentioned on air about the wet conditions inside his trousers. What a charmer!
