    it's a ploy to drive everybody bonkers thinking that this is the absolute last date so that this will convince the promoters to take the risk, and once this sells out after everybody flies in from all over the world, THEN they will announce the american tour!

              i think it would have been super easy just to wrap up the entire tour with 5 nights in LA/5 nights in NYC and collect his paycheck and go home, but you just can't help but think he can't be bothered with it.

              there is a definite void, if anybody else has noticed that he's still on tour and he hasn't given an interview in months. why is that? my guess is that he's being obstinate because he figures that if Sanctuary isn't doing anything, then neither should he.

              it's almost as news-less right now as in the gaps when he's not really doing anything.

                Morrissey didn't actually say this would be his LAST date ever... or even the last date of this tour! He said it would be the last date of AUGUST! You guys sure like to jump to conclusions! As soon as Morrissey announces a tour date, you assume he's never going to announce another! I try not to say anything very often on this board, but you guys kinda bring me down! (I know I know, I should just stop reading! Point taken).

                I have a feeling that this is the final date of the ROTT tour. If he was gonna tour the USA (and other countries), he would've announced the dates by now...

                There will be no Us Tour. Morrissey has been touring ROTT in Europe and UK for the last 4 months and he is gigged-out. Take it from me.
