Barring ego and arrogance, publicized asexuality, and heated feuds between the once seemingly-unstoppable duo Moz and Marr, Steven Morrissey's rock star status is indisputable. He was, and is, a mogul for the awkward youth of Britain and America alike. Almost two decades after The Smiths parted ways, kids are lying on their floors in the dark listening quietly to a smooth voice lilted with that Manchester accent relay their own problems back to them.
