Has anyone else spotted these little beauties on the hmv web site?

limited edition 12" vinyl of Irish Blood and First Of The Gang. Can't understand why they didn't put them out on 12" first time around, but better late than never I suppose.

each one contains all the respective b-sides from the 2 cd singles of each release.

i've pre-ordered mine. nice!!

the four track 7"'s from the US as well as the normal two track 7"'s. Will I be getting these 12"'s too? You betcha!

Why don't they release all of the singles on 7" in the first place though? As much as I'm a mug for going along with it I can't help feeling that this is a crap marketing and money making scam.

I saw these first hand and I couldn't see ANY limited edition numbering. On all other limited records I've bought there's always been a number.

So, what's going on then ?

How can anyone prove they're limited ?!

mine are on their way, plus the 2 tormentor singles on all formats. I'm a junkie :)

that's great that the other quarry singles are coming out on 12 inch cos let me kiss you is the best sleeve of them. Same can't be said for the blurry video capture on Jesus sleeve :(

A story of the releases on 20/05/06. That HMV uk were selling the formats on pre-order.Like you, i was going to pre-order via Japan or USA stores. But it was left pending[not submitted]But there you go, you all know now.
Mine arrived Monday ,but i had to send them back to Guernsey because they were damaged. Hope you all have better luck before they 're sold out. And selling on ebay

The inner covers are the prime boon.
One of the lovliest things about Smiths 12" singles was the colour coordination from "shakespeares sister" onwards.Although these sadly are not in a corresponding hue the "generic/company" theme is very nice.
