The Tory leader David Cameron chose "This Charming Man" as one of his eight "Desert Island Discs" this morning on BBC Radio 4. For some reason, Cameron introduced his choice by explaining he has nothing in common with Morrissey - 'for example, Morrissey is veggie and I (Cameron) love my meat' - before saying that Morrissey performance of this track on TOTP was iconic.
Wonder what Moz would think of sharing a desert island with the leader of the Tories?

Hmmm, I really don't understand this. I mean, I know people say 'Oh well, it's just music' but surely people must realise that the words have meaning. Living your life in a manner which directly contradicts what you choose to listen to seems, likesay, a bit mad. No?
