"Covers" - exhibition on the history of LP record covers features Morrissey / Smiths

Between 4th of April and 28th May 2006 there is a special part of the exhibition that displays album and single covers by The Smiths and Morrissey (for some reason so is Maladjusted not mentioned at all). Unfortunately for those who don't speak Finnish so is the Morrissey/Smiths part of the exhibition without English text, though the main exhibition has got it. The main exhibition entrance fee is 6€ (and is well worth a visit) and with that you can visit all the exhibitions in the museum. Though if you don't have the money the Morrissey/Smiths part can be seen for free in the entrance area. More details in Finnish.

On exhibition and Maladjusted (Score:1)

Thanks for Stefan about presenting our exhibitions "Covers" and "This Charming Man -Morrissey as a Cover Designer".

As a curator of the Morrissey exhibition I would like to answer your question on
"Maladjusted".

Our special exhibition concentrates especially on Mozzers own desing and his ideas
about the record covers. As we all do know he did a devoted and wonderfull job with his
covers -with a little help from Caryn Gough and Jo Slee.

Although some of the covers during Morrissey´s solo career are perhaps not so brilliant. And not all of them are not even designed by him. I would like to count the cover of the Maladjusted
as such... But afterall the most important reason to leave "Maladjusted" out was the strive to keep the amount of cd covers as small as possible in the exhibition.

I would be happy to tell more about the exhibiton.
