He doesn't look like him at all . . . or perhaps I'm just bitter because I keep seeing the word Morrissey and doing a double take, and then realising that it is yet another 'Basic Instinct' poster.

My comparison is vindicated (Score:1)

I said this when people over on the discussion boards had their 'who should play Morrissey in a film' debate and quite a few fans said they couldn't see a resemblance. Aside from the fact that his jawline is weaker than Mozzer's, they could be brothers. Indeed, some scientific news a few weeks ago claimed men sharing unusual surnames were likely to be distantly related; an Irish ancestor in common perhaps?
I've certainly found it amusing driving past billboards and seeing the name Morrissey next to that 'Keeler' picture of Sharon Stone. I wonder what Steven makes of it all?
Nevertheless, David M, what the hell is an actor of your calibre doing in trash like Basic Instinct?
