Stephen Colbert doesn't like Morrissey

Torr writes:
Stephen Colbert was on Air America Radio's Majority Report last night (podcast) and at about the 1hr 28min mark (after "This Charming Man" is played) he says that he can't listen to Morrissey cause it makes him reach for the razor blades. What a shame that a funny guy like Colbert doesn't see the humour in Moz's lyrics.

He's clearly trying to be Phil Hartman (RIP). He's obviously in the closet. He's not just faking the news, he himself is fake. His "Word" of the day is just a white man trying to act black. I wish Jon Stewart would put his foot down and have this man removed from TV. It's got nothing to do with Moz, Colbert is terrible and lacking any wit.

Stephen is infinitely funnier than Jon Stewart who has just become a complete political tool. If you've ever caught the show "Strangers With Candy", Stephen is pretty damn funny on that as well. I'm sure he was just kidding about Moz and The Smiths, not to worry people. He's certainly mastered the art of getting noticed, Colbert references are popping up all over.

Stephen Colbert is just about the most disciplined comedic performer around. His work is incredibly dark and his ability to hold a straight face is legendary in certain circles. He is doing an ugly job in ugly times, and deserves nothing but respect for his ability to immerse himself in the endless poisonus drivel that passes for "news journalism" these days.

He is an ironist of the first order.
