ROTT Deluxe Edition reveals which tracks are slated to be the second and third singles?

I'm pretty sure that "The Youngest Was The Most Loved" had already been solidly pegged as the second single by someone, somewhere, but this seems to confirm that suggestion as well confirming that "In The Future When All Is Well" will be the third single off ROTT. I think we knew from Boz that three videos had already been shot, but I don't think he told us which tracks- I guess now we know.

So now we can move right on to specualting over what will be the fourth single off ROTT.

      This is great news.

      I think tracks 3-7 of ROTT are the best run on a Morrissey album in a long time... full of great energy. And The Youngest and In the Future are the strongest single contenders...

        My favourites are 'I will see you in far off places', 'The youngest was most loved', and 'The father who must be killed' (at the moment the latter is my absolute favourite). And 'Dear God please help me' has made me titter every time so far.

        But I'm not sure if it is always true that the strongest album tracks work as singles. They can end up being played to the death, and it's nice to have them a little more 'secret'.

        I was a little worried that 'You have killed me' was an example of the way the whole album runs lyrically. But actually, I was pleased- I think the others are much better in that sense.

        'You have killed me' makes a nice single, though.

          Alain's songs (Score:0)
          I don't know if you've noticed but a lot of the 'upcoming' singles people want have been co-written by Jesse (TYWTML and ITFWAW).

          It looks like Morrissey has given Alain the chance to sit back and experiment a little. "Dear God" and "Life Is A Pigsty" are prime examples of this. I guess Jesse has been given the pressure to write the singles from now on.

          It just feels strange, considering Alain wrote some fantastic singles for QATQ.

          'On the Streets I Ran' 3rd single? (Score:0)
          Wasn't 'On the Streets I Ran' slated to be the 3rd single? 'In the Future...' seems an odd choice, to my mind at least it's easily the weakest track on the record, and 'The Youngest...' isn't one of the best on there either. 'I Just Want to See the Boy Happy' or '...Far Off Places' seem like more obvious choices... but having said that, every track on 'Ringleader...' is fantastic so can't complain- it's definitely a massive step up from '...Quarry'.
