Matt Walker - drummer for the upcoming tour?

A very reliable source close to the band has informed me that Matt Walker will be the new drummer on tour with Moz and the boys. Matt has played with Filter and most recently The Cupcakes, but is best know for being "The guy that replaced Jimmy Chamberlin in the Smashing Pumpkins".

The only thing better would be to have Jimmy Chamberlain himself on the tour.

So what happened to Matt Chamberlain? (Score:1)
Wasn't he the drummer on ROTT? I can't keep up with all Morrissey's drummers quite frankly

And does this new fella just go around replacing people called Chamberlain?

At least Alain being on drums in the YHKM video makes sense now.

Kind of suprised and disappointed that Matt Chamberlain's not drumming for the tour, I'm a big fan of his drumwork. But he's a session musician by trade, he's probably in the middle of another gig.

But seriously: Just cut the bullshit and get Spencer back on board, Moz! He's the best drummer you ever had!

The horrible lyric about kegs between legs is a key part of both reviews with journalists suggesting Moz is rpoviding more information than necessary...

You know, that's probably what this is all about. I bet Joyce just wants to be back in Moz's gang. If Moz re-hired him, he'd probably drop all the lawsuits. He'd be drumming for the man, who he obviously admires artistically, and he'd be making some touring money.

It's a win-win situation. Moz - no more lawsuits and a great drummer in his band. Mike - making money and can show his face again with out being public enemy #1.
