If this is true then all I can say is the FBI must have a lot of free time on their hands. Perhaps they hauled Moz in to help them zip up their monkey suits.

I'd have bloody LOVED to listen to that interview between Moz and the FBI.

He's got absolutely no respect for authority, as he shoudln't, and so was never going to bow down to them. He must have driven them nuts.

It's like the 1996 court case. Could have got away with it but because he was so petulant towards the judge he eventually cost him and Marr millions.

You can picture Johnny there thinking "Nooooooooooooooooooooooo" as Morrissey bungled the whole operation.

Had Morrissey told them how he really feels about the USA and George Bush, I wonder how they would have treated him.

I personally do hope he spoke his mind and got everything off his chest, and then maybe he could go back to writing good music without any political crap involved.

Save your comments about how he writes about how he feels. If I want to hear politics I'll go to a political convention.

Oh yea, save your Morrissey bashing comments. I know how some of you think I'm bashing Morrissey because I state my opinion. Save the "your opinion comments suck" stuff too.

No wonder why I enter a bookstore here and find a stack of banned books, and have to sign a petition to keep them alive, or why I visit the public library's exhibit dispaying videos of moments of the Third Reich. Of course, fascism is the utlimate degree of censorship, but I'm quite convinced censorship is censorship no matter how many forms or levels it comes in. I think Morrissey like anybody else has the right to express his opinions as freely as he sees fit; why should that lead to federal investigation is a wonder...lots of anti-Bush and anti-Blair opinions are sprawling these days; if the feds are to investigate and baffle every one of them, they'd go out of breath. And it's not even because Morrissey is one of the most famous figures that expresses an opinion that would otherwise would go "unoticed" by the mass media...because even the mass media is mentioning the decline in Bush's popularity...
