    morrissey is doing the european summer festivals.

    Pinkpop is also live on television in the neterlands, well, the last day, pinkpop lasts 3 days.

    so info about which day he'll play would be greatly apreciated

        Pinkpop is not a gay-festival, "Pink" is short for Pinksteren which means Whitsun. The festival is being held during the Whit weekend.

            First of all, Pinkpop is not gay. But it's not cool either. In the past years it has been the festival for has beens. This year it looks promising, with Tool, Franz Ferdinand and Morrissey, but I'm not going. I'll stick to the (massive!) Amsterdam concert.

              Festivalinfo is based on rumours and ideas by the general festival crowd. It's not an official confirmation!! Let's wait what Julia has to say before travelling to Landgraaf.

                This show has not been confirmed anywhere yet. It has not even been mentioned anywhere in this country. I'm sure they don't want it to be confirmed before early April, when Moz plays Amsterdam. Festivalinfo is based on rumours.

                Coincidentally, The Smiths were signed and confirmed to headline the Pinkpop-festival in 1987, but of course, they cancelled and were replaced by Echo and the Bunnymen.

                lot of comments about the LACK of CONFIRMATION but (Score:0)
                the May 1st Ally Pally show has STILL not been confirmed by Julia's website.

                Remember Morrissey said "if you don't hear it form me (ie from true to you) don't believe it"

                Well, so far only an ad placed in NME by Sanctuary so far. And we all know how much that means. (Isle of Wight anyone?)
