Nobody smaller than Tony Visconti draws for production and mixes responsible and that means clearly different sound and another tendency than on Quarry. The album was taken up completely to Rome in the forum Music Village, the famous studio by Ennio Morricone. Morricone steered also arrangements for Streicher with... Also contentwise one can make oneself calm on some, what we would not have expected from MON. The album out altogether a more positive basic tendency, Morrissey speaks (!), and suggests luck. Also the first single uncoupling "You Have Killed ME" (VOe: 31 March) is a great Liebessong: We hear "I let us duck-talk emergency-hung, and emergency-hung let us duck-talk ME, ' til you came, with the keys" - basicgood-natured, that from its mouth?! "Ringleader OF The Tormentors" was written by Morrissey as well as Jesse Tobias, Alan Whyte and Boz Boorer.
