Pretty Petty Thieves is an affectionately irreverent Morrissey/Smiths fansite. Please do pop round.

Interviews: Spencer Cobrin, Mark Simpson (author of "Saint Morrissey"), Jose Maldonado (Sweet & Tender Hooligans tribute band), Alan Wilson (The Sharks & The Gazmen... and more....

Reviews: "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others", Smiths/Moz tour of Manchester, Elva Snow, Smiths/Moz books, Red Lightning, Electronic... and more...

Random fun stuff: The Morrissey Gig Queuing Olympics (to get you in the mood for this year), the Morrissey doll, shrines to Morrissey, 1001 Reasons Why We Love Boz, Morrissey's tea pot... and more....

It's updated once or twice a week.

Fantastic interview with Spencer J Cobrin (Score:1, Informative)
He's a really funny, brainy, sensitive bloke.
And he wrote the music to 'Lost' and 'Wide to Receive'; without doubt, two of the greatest songs Morrissey ever sung. What a tragedy that Moz hasn't been able to patch things up...

Hard To Walk Tall... No about Spencer (Score:0, Flamebait)
This song is so clearly about Mike Joyce I can't believe someone would suggest it was about Spencer.

Anyone who thinks this song is about Spencer is an idiot and anyone who disagrees with me is an asshole. :)

      Great Site (Score:1)
I enjoyed the site very much. I wish it much success.

My favorite entry is located under the Fans section, entitled "Alain Whyte: Agony Uncle."

      I so do enjoy smut.

When I first heard the song, I wondered if Moz was somewhat referencing the movie "A Hard Day's Night" where Ringo talks about his inferiority complex and being "little." After all, Moz says, "Hey Ringo..."
