There are too many bands on Live 8 not to win. The vote will be way skewed by this. I didn't vote because NME wants me to sign up for MyNME. I can't be arsed to give them my email address.

      The Kaiser Chiefs DVD is called Enjoyment NOT Employment that was the name of the album.

          "Who put the M" is a powerful disc. I also find it mesmerizing. I'm at a bit of a loss to explain why because, like most people who remember the Smiths, Morrissey is a whole different performer these days. Some who are uncharitable say he has become too stiff, and miss that whirling dervish, but I say the man has really found his voice, and he knows that his craft, not theatrics, must now come to the fore. I bet a lot of people didn't think he had it in him.
