Gave me a headache.

It is too scattered and a little too busy.

that was truly awful. i enjoyed several of those mixes but the suedehead was the low-point of the whole record. i wonder why that particular song was chosen?

This is why I love Moz-solo! There is no f'ing way I would have ever even heard about this album, let alone had the chance to listen to the stream. Nice detailed post that made it easy to go, listen, and get on with work.

      Cheers!

Hey ! Not my kind of music... but it makes you realize how strange Morrisseys voice really was in those days. Now it's like silk dipped in honey, but it was a little froggy back in the day, no ?

Good to hear such a substantial reinterpretation, so dull to hear re-mixes when they are just a phased vocal over a new beat with an inappropriate electro-melody thrown in for good measure.
On the Suedehead lyric, does anyone else recall M. ad libbing (in response to the "Whyyy-y-whyyy" warble) "It was because / of the look in your eye / I will never know" on a Jonathan Ross hosted show in the early 90s? I lost my tape ages ago, but I assume he has used a similar line in concerts. On "Beethoven..." he has some rant about writing everything you've done down on a wall, the kid loves his graffiti.
