since i'm a regular visiter to this website i thought i'd share this. my favorite band (often compared to johnny cash and morrissey in a car wreck) the scattered pages just released their free christmas album with a cover of 'please, please, please, let me get what i want' and, well, yours truly is the guest vocalist. i was asked to write some poetry for the band and brandon hancock, the lead vocalist and songwriter, asked me to step in and do a moz cover. i must say it's a romantic version with a guest appearance from humphrey bogart.
the scattered pages download page.

their official website is http://www.scatteredpages.com

the artwork is hilarious so i'd recommend downloading the album cover and back. to see some of the pictures from the recording session, log on to my website.

LONG LIVE MOZ!!!

Great job musically, and the Bogie dialogue at the end is a nice touch. You're a good singer, too, but I don't hear true emotion coming through Morrissey's words -- just professionalism.

Still, one of the better covers I've heard.

Good job, it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.

I like the ending especially, and the fact that the recording on the whole doesn't sounds amateurish.
