Marr and Rourke to re-unite for cancer charity (Jan. 28)

Am I the first person to send this story in? Probably not......

"Former members of The Smiths, bassist Andy Rourke and guitarist Johnny Marr, are set to play at the Manchester versus Cancer concert on January 28 at the M.E.N. Arena.

It will be the first time they have performed publicly together since the group’s acrimonious split in 1988.(wasn't it 1987 in fact?)"

The gig is the brainchild of Rourke who hopes it will raise £1million for Manchester’s Christie Hospital - Europe’s largest cancer treatment and research centre."

I heard that Rourke and Joyce had a falling out. True?

I could see Morrissey willing to be on stage with Marr and Rourke.

I'm probably projecting a bit too much, but it seems that in recent years Moz has softened his opinion of Rourke, and even shows some concern for him here.

While the two obviously get off hugely on accusing each other of horrrific acts like child-molestation, it holds NO INTEREST WHATSOEVER to well over 99% of the site's readership.

David Tseng, these arseholes are rendering your site unreadable. People come here to read about Moz, for good or ill, and instead increasingly come across the virulent, unnamusing feud between a pair of monomanical, witless obsessives with an unhealthy interest in labelling each other as child-abusers. To almost all readers of this site, this is an odd mixture of sickening and BORING.

Please David, take action now. Ban the IP addresses of both, and delete all further posts of the same theme.

The pair of these are weird fantasists. Get yourseleves your own chatroom please, and stop fucking it up for everyone else!!!
