'In the last few months, the play has had talked-about runs in London, Manchester and Dublin (where I caught it last month). The producers hope to bring it to New York sometime next year - ideally at a venue like BAM.'

Damn! BAM is just a few subway stops away from here. I have to say all the reviews make the musical sound like a brilliant experience - not a brilliant piee of art itself, necessarily, just a brilliant time! God how I'd love to see it.

Time to get hopes up...
