Liam Gallagher has a poke at ole Mozz [fake story?]

An anonymous person writes:
If you get the Evening Standard, you will see a funny bit on Liam Gallagher from Oasis talking about the best front men of all time. When asked about Mozza as a great front man, Liams says:

"Yeah, he's a real bird that one. I saw'm in LA when we was doing "The Truth" LP, and I felt I was watchin me uncle, sports coat and all singing tunes around the piano. Noel loves him, for me, he is for the blokes, if ya know what I mean"

Anyways, I thought that was a classic bit.

When asked about Marr, Liam had two words:
"Fookin Class".

go figure...

I liked Oasis back in the day, but of the two brothers, Noel seems to be the one who really knows what's going on music-wise. he said some nice things about the Mozzer in "Importance of Being Morrissey." had Liam been on there, he'd probably be half-drunk, spouting rubbish. he's probably giving props to Johnny Marr because Johnny's a gentleman and didn't want to beat in his face like most musicians would.

But Liam Gallagher is the finest tambourine-basher in the world! - a skill he picked up in church no doubt
Apparently he's been practising a few "riffs" on the triangle aswell - he wanted to play guitar but that would have meant learning the first 7 letters of the alphabet

Besides, when has Liam ever been true about his feelings in public ? and lets face he's said alot worse about even Noel.

Idiots who are pig-ignorant and proud of it should be ignored frankly. The fact the man can sing is neither here nor there.

I have always felt it's shameful for Morrissey to praise such a blatant homophobe as Liam - who only accepts Moz because he likes to think Moz isn't gay.

Still, that probably appeals to Morrissey's perverse sensibility.
