        Hi,

I am going to start a fanzine for Boz Boorer, contributions are welcome! Photos, concert/CD reviews, thoughts on why you love Boz, etc. is what I'm looking for! I will appreciate all input. Issue 1 will be free and possibly further issues as well, as I will need much help with this!

Since the holiday season is so crazy for most everyone, there is no deadline about submissions. I understand how busy everyone is.

Please email me at the following email address with contributions: August9Gal@aol.com Thank you in advance!

Let's have a less polished, rawer "mix" this time round please.

Amyome know what role Alain has played in this album? Jesse writing, Visconti producing, Boz mixing. Alain - playing a bit of guitar here and there? His input does seem to be substantially reduced.

Tony Visconti - filling the Mick Ronson void? (Score:1)
This is fantastic news - a new album, the gang back together and a tour in the offing.
It is really heartwarming to see Moz back with Alain, Boz and Gary (who looks to have been drawing on his arms again) - it is with these three musicians that he has created some of his best solo work and certainly his best live performances.
I do wonder as to whose idea the three guitarists was - this could be exciting stuff, if only because the extra depth that Craig Gannon brought to The Smiths. The flipside of course, is that they could be the next Wishbone Ash.
Visconti though is an inspired choice and must surely tick all Moz's boxes, as glam rock mastermind par excellence. If he can do 1/10th the magic that Mick Ronson did on Your Arsenal, then this next album should be a triumph. The idea of choristers even is great news - a return back to Panic and those weird Saturday morning kid's tv singalongs that the Smiths used to crop up on.
The only downside is going to be extending the overdraught in time for the next tour.
