Is that all Marr does these days? (Score:0)
There isn't one documentary recently where Marr hasn't popped up as a talking head.

Morrissey was right when he said he doesn't apply himself.

It will be on for the next three Sundays also. Next week is mostly Bowie and Bolan. Then the week after that I suspect Moz and The Smiths will be talked about a lot, with Marr contributing.

saw the first show- really enjoyed it. Opening clip had Morrissey opening his shirt to reveal the words " marry me".
He'll probably be on the 3rd show as each one tackles a decade, next week is the seventies.

Some nice archive footage of The Smiths with a new talking head clip of Marr where he said something along the lines of "Yeah, we wrote songs for really lonely people in their bedrooms but we also wrote them for the normal person and lads that played footy on a Sat - I know because I've met them"
All very nice interspersed with some Old Grey Whistle Test footage of Panic (I think) with the wee schoolboy singing backing vocals. Also there was some archive interview footage of Moz being highly articulate as always despairing all the new pop bands selling millions of records and with nothing to say.
It then moved onto Mozzas solo career with some footage of the Wolverhampton 88 gig and Dallas gigs. Another talking head so called expert appears stating his gigs attract busloads of gas fitters from Bolton all clamouring over each other to get a touch of his hand.
Be interested to see if Beeb 2 have a repeat of it or anyone has any torrents of it.
