On Saturday 15th October, ‘The Other Smiths’ will be at Salford Lads Club from 1pm to support ‘The Big Draw’ project aimed at getting young people interested in drawing, painting and the arts in general.

The project ‘Drawing Coronation Street’ is being kindly supported by the band, where they are to pose outside, Queen Is Dead fashion and have their image recorded by local children drawing and painting them. The pictures are to be displayed in the Smiths room at the club and prizes awarded for their efforts.

Providing hypothermia hasn’t set in The Other Smiths are then performing at The Met, Bury at 8.30.

The Moz Bus is also arriving at Salford Lads Club on the next leg of their Smiths/Moz tour in the afternoon for a free tour of the club. For details and bookings please email craig.mmt@ntlworld.com

Thanks once again to everyone who continues to support the club by visiting and buying t-shirts to help keep it running into what is now it’s 102nd year! New t-shirts are also available NOW!
