According to Channel 4's text service, Teletext, Morrissey has resigned with Sanctuary and they will be releasing his next album early next year. A source claims that the contract was signed three weeks ago. More news may surface, but as of now that's all I've heard.

    "re-signed" would have been clearer than "resigned."

    please let all things fall in to place for Morrissey for the delivery of his latest offspring. there are similarities between creating an album and giving birth. both are best accomplished with the help of good midwives. that is how I see the role of the label.

    I hope Sanctuary will continue to provide sanctuary for him. and bring us what we are all sitting here drooling for: more Morrissey music!

    The business pages featured a story about Sanctuary getting a much needed boost in morale with Morrissey signing for a new album next year. There was also a great photo of him where he doesn't look like a chubby gurner.
