I am surprised this has not been mentioned, but in last months Filter Magazine(mini) there was an interview with Andy Rourke. Andy lists his "Dream Smiths DJ Set," and gives a brief description why each songs is important to him. The article is brief, but mentions a Memoir, Smiths Documentary, and a new band. Not much content, but nice to see The Smiths in the media. Enjoy!

It's always fun to hear about what The Smiths members thinks of their music, because it's their heart and soul poured into every note of the songs. If i were to Morrissey or even all of The Smiths I'd ask, ask and ask about what every song meant to them. Especially "Wonderful Woman" which I think is so very underrated, even by them. Well, all in all a good newsclip.

I can kind of picture him lugging a big travel case filled with old lp's off of the airport luggage carousel or out of the hold of a travel bus, readjusting his sun glasses, and lugging the case curbside to wave down a taxi.
