Morrissey reference in Bryan Ferry book review

Ben writes:
In a collected review of new music books in this weekend's New York Times, Morrissey gets a mention in a piece about THE THRILL OF IT ALL: The Story of Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music:

"After this, though, it's not clear why the book needs to continue for another 100 pages, particularly when Ferry's subsequent recorded output has been so spotty and the details of his life aren't exactly a mystery. It's not as if he's Morrissey, after all."

What is it with you Morrissey fans? So it was alright for the Roxy Music book to get to the bit where Morrissey is mentioned but it should have ended there. What mede you read it in the first place? You all sound so bitter.

idont think this post was meant to be a way of bringing this to your attention specifically- more anyone who might be mildly interested in learning of yet another Morrissey mention. thats why people come here, you know- to hear and talk about Morrissey.

you speak of "Morrissey fans" as if you dont include yourself under this heading. imight ask then, if you dont consider yourself to be a "Morrissey fan", why do you come here to this Morrissey fansite?

Slightly off topic, but what was Morrissey's (Score:0)
favourite uk album of all time. I know it was an album by roxy music, but I cant remember which one. I dont no much about RM so I thought I'd give it a listen sometime soon.

on books: in Robbie Williams book there are over a dosen references to Morrissey. There is even a mention of Robbie and George Michael disussing the Morrissey phenomena!
