An old Armando Iannucci programme from 1994 was aired on BBC 7 on Friday 25th June at 23.00. It includes ‘The more you ignore me the closer I get’ and a sketch involving Morrissey stalking someone’s girlfriend, which is quite funny. You can hear it at this link.

The sketch is about 17 minutes in.

That was wild!
Good spontaneous cheeky fun that's replaced by more cynic humour these days.

Blimey that takes me back! (Score:1)
I remember sitting listening to this show- and of course at the time didn't really know who any of the people were- but now they're all pretty famous (in a cult way) thanks to the TV shows that followed.

I can actually remember hearing that sketch, it was around the time I was just begining to notice Morrissey. I can picture myself laughing at it in my poky bedroom (I had the smaller one then), just 15 years old.

    *sigh*
