      from the pics and web I gather that people line up hours before the convention to see a morrissey impersonation contest, a Smiths cover band and some (no doubt) overpriced merchandise?

      What am I missing here?

      If I see one more damn POST about the Convention Im going to fucking SCREAM.... its no big deal.... it has grown into a BUNCH of posers who go there.....

      It has grown into something that isnt special anymore... It was special in the begining.. now its all about buying merchandise that you can get anywhere... online... There are no hard to finds or anything that is special... and if you buy things when you go there... you so fell into their trap....

      Its just a money maker for them now.... why do you think it has cut back into one day.... cuz more then 1 person has already figured that out..and last years convention sucked... and the attendance was low....

      Half the people you see at the convention you dont see at the ACTUAL shows... save your money people for the REAL deal... instead of watching COVER BANDS and swearing its MOZ GARY BOZ DEANO....

      You aren't hardcore just because you've been to every convention.

      Keep that in mind when you guys are standing in line.... trying to get it.... Moz doesnt see a penny of any of the money you are spending there.... You are actually helping to exploit him.....

      If you are such a fan of the guys... why would you do that?
