I'm going to go to this, it sounds like they've got some original ideas.

Has a Morrissey Solo 'outing' ever been organised before? Perhaps we could all agree on a night that suits and book tickets independently for that particular evening? Then go to the pub afterwards and get drunk.

You can get the first round in, Broken. Then we'll go to a different pub. No, that's childish.

Someone suggest a date. Any time after the 4th of July suits me.

I’d consider that trip. While my karma is sound enough on here, the series of belligerent ghouls ruffling my aura must mean that I’ve much to make up for in this life. The thought of being reincarnated as a wasp to come back and annoy the hell out of them occurs to me sometimes!

Could anyone persuade Morrissey to mingle on the night? He could minimize bombardment by maybe coming disguised as a Smiths fan, with a massive quiff wig, NHS specs, baggy frilly blouse, and a hearing aid - pretending to be himself! No?!

By the way I forgot to mention that REM included a version of “Moon River” during their Sunday concert, which Michael Stipes said was his favourite song as a child ‘cos it mentioned something about a hound that sounded to him like the name of his favourite comic?
