Oasis uses Smiths outro on live appearance

Yesterday night Oasis played their new single Layla on the German late night show TV Total, and the song ended with the Rubber Ring outro "You are sleeping/you do not want to believe/you are sleeping"!

Despite that their appearance was embarrassing, it's hard to say whether their looks or their singing was worse.

          Get over it. Every fucking band steals from other bands. Oasis are the ONLY ones with balls to admit to it publicly.
          And atleast when they nick they nick from well proper bands and not some fuckin Eagles crap!

        Be nice to Oasis people, they think they're The Beatles. Anyway, Oasis has always had good things to say about Morrissey and The Smiths. That's a good thing when you look at all of the other crazy things they say. Their new album has some good songs but isn't as good as their last cd. I have to say I like the new oasis better than the new Coldplay. Texasbloke

            Oasis are great band! People just walk like sheep cos the journos gave them a bad rap so people think its fashionable to diss them. We'll see how Bloc Pary and all that lot are in 10yrs, I'll tell you right now, they'll all be back on the fuckin DOLE!

            I have always seen Oasis and the next generations Smiths. If you are 15 - 25, there is nothing better. Sorry, I know alot of people see other bands as the replacement, but come on. The Smiths had that 60's thing, and now Oasis is taking it even further.... Not that anyone will agree.

            Oh god no, why was their appearance embarrassing? They are normally sh*t hot live, second only to Moz (and sometimes better!), Liam wasn't drunk was he? And why did they sound bad? Hopefully just technical problems?
