MR: You Are The Quarry was amazingly successful, what do we hope to see from the new album..?

Come on, Boz! Show some spine!

When asked about your next record, you must always give the obligatory "Oh, it's fantastic. Even better than the last one!".

"More of the same"...ha. Does that mean more "First of the Gang"s or more "Slum Mums" / "I Am Two People"?

That "erm" is a bit disheartening too, innit? ;)

Obviously it's all a matter of opinion, but there are plenty of us who don't think the magic stopped after Vauxhall.

Southpaw is one of my favourite albums and interesting for the rare reversal where the lyrics are second to the music.

Maladjusted was dull but in my book still not actively bad.

I loved and love Quarry though, yes, Noise is the Best Revenge and Slum Mums really should be taken to a dark alley and put out of their misery.

People's taste in music change (my first album was Mel and Kim for god's sake)- perhaps Morrissey's taste has evolved and unfortunately what he might now think is great a lot of us might find tedious.

      All totally subjective of course.

I agree, "more of the same," will never be the blue print for anything amazing to come. I've never once heard any band, no matter how successful their prior album was, respond, "more of the same" when asked what's next?
