I picked up a copy of the anthology to one of my faves band earlier today, At The Drive-In, while in line I was checking out the trax on the cd when to my surprise towards the end of the cd there it is, listed; THIS NIGHT HAS OPENED MY EYES! A classic Smiths' track and one of my personal faves.

ATDI anthology? (Score:1)
Wow I used to love this band back in 97-99. Saw 'em about 10 times, but never knew they did a Smiths cover.

This has to be one of the worst cover versions of a smiths song...ever. listen to a clip here http://www.fearlessrecords.com/atdi/main.html

that cover sounds like shit. any snot-nosed kid can sing that way. no one really should be allowed to touch touch smiths/moz songs unless its for their personal enjoyment.

im a fan of At The Drive-In, but that was pretty damn weak. maybe hearing the whole song in its entirety would help- but idoubt it.
