Ferry bookings to the IOW

I e-mailed Red Funnel Ferries after Morrissey made his announcement, asking for a refund since i don't particularly want to go anymore (it was only a day ticket). Initially they said that no refund would be available, but that i could defer my trip to the IOW until another time. I've just received another e-mail telling me that they've received confirmation from the organisers that Morrissey's cancelled, & therefore they're now willing to give me a refund (minus £5 admin fee), which i think is very kind of them. It'd be worth others who've lost out to give this a try.

Also, there's been no official statement as of yet, but Morrissey's name has been taken off the official line-up & Roxy music is now there in the headline position, don't know if this is going to change, but i hope that everyone who's still intending to go has a lovely time, style your hair in a quiff for the day & wear something floral to make up for the disappointment, also take the opportunity to disinfect your liver with alcohol.

Ferry might have to catch the Ferry -- I suspect the budget of Roxy's appearance just plumetted after Morrissey's announcement.

Through an e-mail to me from a very nice chap that you can only get your full money back (-£5) if you've booked the ferry seperately, if you booked it as part of a package then it's 80% cancellation fee, which is rather crap i think. I don't think any of them know what to do really.
Sorry if i got anyone's hopes up! I didn't think that it would matter what type of ticket you had.
