Kelly Osbourne's friendship with Morrissey

On a celebrity gossip list i'm on they posted something about kelly osbourne, and when i went to her "official fan site" (kellyosbourne.org) i found this midway through the page:

"RADIO ONE INTERVIEW PIC AND LINK (AGAIN)
Posted by Amy on May 14 | Comment?
----------------------------
Kelly was on the Jo Whiley show for over 2 hours on Friday... this is what the Radio One site had to say about it...
"She's made a comeback with a new elctro direction - Kelly Osbourne was Jo Whiley's guest today.
She told us about her recent trips to the cinema, her honesty and saying what she thinks and her friendship with Morrissey. We also got the knowledge on her new album. You can hear the interview again here..."
Also a bigger pic of the above can be found here "
----------------------------

given my hatred for kelly osbourne i couldn't stomach listening to the entire interview, so i don't know exactly what she said about being "friends" with moz, but the thought of the two of them hanging out together makes me kind of depressed.

anyway, thought you might like to know. :)

It's her mom, Sharon, I despise. She's a more irritating psuedo-celebrity than Paris Hilton. God I was happy when her talk show was canceled. The woman is about a grating and grating gets. She's obsessed with being famous but she has no legit reason for being famous. Someone needs to stuff a sock in her mouth.

She's just another example of our entire celeb-rotten culture of crashing bores. We don't care about your stupid son being an Oxy-Contin addict. We don't wanna read the special issue of People magazine about your struggle to lose weight. GO AWAY and take your whole fame and money obsessed, reality TV circus sideshow family with you.

Or, if you wanna do something worthwhile, see if Ozzy can manage reading a public service anouncement declaring he's sorry he made it seem "cool" to decapitate animals for spectacle. You'd better write his cue cards in first grade english, too.

Oh, and I highly doubt Kelly Osborne is "friends" with Morrissey. You know how it works in phoney, phoney Hollywood. "Friend" is a term very loosely thrown amongst celebrities when talking about each other. It most likely means they said hi for 5 minutes one day.

An Italian researcher - Putnam - reckoned that it’s all about ‘social capital’ i.e. “features of social organization such as networks, norms, and social trust that facilitate coordination and cooperation for mutual benefit”. It’s been observed, only fairly recently in science anyway, that health in the widest sense is affected profoundly by the type of community people live in; things like the amount of support exchanged between neighbours, levels of group affiliation and frequency of participation in community activities. To achieve balance, he suspects that reasonable fairness would be a biggie, e.g. where income is concerned, so that people constantly are comparing themselves with others and when they notice a real disparity of something valuable e.g. status, they’ll rebel in whatever way possible to equalize the situation.

Maybe, for social purposes, that’s what the compulsiveness of gossip is at least partly about? A kind of name-and-shame tool, a local news channel, a spin-maker...
