Live at Earls Court gets a glowing review in the new Q (although only scores 3/5).
Unlike YRTQ, Q give ‘Live At Earls Court’ pride of place as the lead-off album in its review section with a two page spread. Smiths and solo songs are celebrated, and Daddy’s Voice even gets singled out for praise on two separate occasions!

‘Who put the M’ gets 4/5 and Moz is even the main subject of the Q editorial (You can’t keep a good rock star down) which states that ‘the bequiffed one returned in triumph with last year’s YRTQ’. Hmm, one wonders what our lovely friend, John Harris, must make of it all!

A mediocre Q review is actually the touchstone of a decent record. they only gave the new BSP record, out yesterday 3*s and there is no doubting it is an excellent record.
