Bernard Butler admits to sing "pleasepleaseplease
let me get what i want" and collect smiths tunes!!!

"BERNARD

singing raindrops keep falling on my head/she's gone/pleasepleaseplease
let me get what i want........looking at that thing at the tate with
schubert piano playing to the oldies waltzing........building
houses.......trying to get rid of the skip......eating squash, playing
chips....buying saucy chairs.....collecting the smiths.......learning
pianner..........reading the collector,not reading the
collector..........dreaming up a record......waking up and finding the
devil........having it off"

Hope the new album will get some smiths influences!

The Dead 60's were supporting The Tears at Manchester Academy a few weeks ago. While the tears were playing, the dead 60's came into the crowd to watch them. My wife asked the singer if they got to meet Morrissey when they toured with him last year, he said that they were told that they could not meet him under any circumstances. He said that Morrissey did give them a gift of some champagne though.

The tears were great, by the way.
