Viz Magazine's Profanisaurus now features Morrissey entry

Morrissey now has his own entry in Roger's Profanisaurus, the brilliant dictionary of UK swear words and phrases created by Viz Magazine.

The following entry appears in the latest edition of the magazine (Issue 142) but these are then compiled into a hardback book every year or so - the recent edition of the Profanisaurus had 4,000 words and phrases, most of them hugely funny.

The Moz entry reads;

MORRISSEY'S STAG NIGHT, LIKE (sim).

Descriptive of a public house peopled
entirely by broken men of indeterminate
age staring silently at their half-empty
pint glasses. Eg, 'Shall we go to Yates's
instead? It's like Morrissey's stag night
in here'.

Quite funny, I think.

The irony is that if Morrissey ever were to have a stag night it would be peopled by skinheads, ex-boxers, Courtney Love, and the surviving members of the New York Dolls. In short, utter mayhem.

      I believe something along those lines was said in a TV-series called "Burn It"... Not a bad show that... 'bout some thirtysomethings in Manchester. In pub-scenes there quite often is Smiths-music in the background and one of the main characters is called "Jon Marr". In the episode that was aired today on Dutch TV the guy made his daughter a "Johnny Marr breakfast-special".
