The session recorded at Maida Vale for Janice Long in December has been added to her session archives page.

Incase you missed it first time, Moz played two new tracks 'Playing easy to get' and 'Noise is the best revenge' along with 'Redondo Beach'.

What a pleasure to hear the older Morrissey session again.

Great to have the opportunity to hear this after missing it first time round, and to sample the new singles both of which are bittersweet. Morrissey has presence, dispensing of roles sometimes e.g becoming the interviewer for a while with his concern for Janice's domestic happiness!! I think if he was going to act, other than in a Persil ad, it'd be more in the naturalistic style of Marlon Brando, 'appearing'!
Anyway it was a rewarding listen.

If you have the time then you should listen to Tim Booths session, it really is splendid...much as it pains me to say this it is more interesting and beautiful than either of the Morrissey sessions.

If I am being really honest I prefer "Bone" to "Quarry". It's such a beautiful record and Booth sounds better than he ever has.

especially loved his comment about Bush. nobody likes him? as Janice pointed out the majority of Americans voted for him at the 2004 presidential election and it doesn't take a genius to work out there are people who actually do like him. loved it when he tried to wriggle out of it by saying "well I've never met [anyone who likes Bush]". how ignorant can one person be?
