New screens of the unreleased video game Killer 7 are available at ign.com. One screen shows the words 'How Soon is Now' smeared on a wall in blood. Is this a possible reference to the Smiths song. Take a look.

I just started playing this new video game called Killer 7 (for GameCube), and I thought you'd be interested to know that it's got several Smiths references... In the game, you play a bunch of assassins, all with the last name Smith (obviously that's not weird), but early in the game, you encounter a wall with the words "How Soon Is Now" scrawled in blood. Then, throughout the game, you get memos (delivered by carrier pigeon), and each has a title of a Smiths song (Well I Wonder, Back To The Oldhouse (sp)), etc. Pretty strange, eh?

Smiths Reference (Score:1)
It's very likely to be a Smiths reference. There's a trailer for the game in which several of the game characters are presented and all of them are named Smith: Con Smith, Garcian Smith, Harman Smith, Kevin Smith, Kaede Smith, Coyote Smith, Mask De Smith and Dan Smith.

You can have a look at the characters and the game at:

Who cares about Morrissey lyrics being scrawled all over the place? We all do it from time to time, don't we?

This kind of thing is like finding Jesus's face in a used feminine napkin & worshipping it. Get a life.
